Billy Idol was one of those fresh faced kids that hit the charts on the back of the new waves of whatever, that we all loved to hate. With Generation X his star burned bright for a while but then the fire fizzled out. Following a move to the States he found greater celebrity as a solo singer with some half decent Hillybilly soundalikes. He is also a commited biker so it can't be all bad....
